Director, Marketing and Digital Communications
Mélissa is a driven professional who stands out for her leadership, enthusiasm, creativity and boundless curiosity.
Thanks to her background in strategic planning, marketing and digital communications, brand positioning, public affairs, team management and copywriting, she ensures the success of the many local and national projects she oversees. A member of the MFLPR team since 2010, she is also known for her exceptional energy and leadership in guiding clients in creating messages from an integrated communications perspective that maximizes their impact and reach. Over the years, she has helmed numerous major projects and advised a variety of well-known organizations and brands. Her main strengths lie in developing integrated communications strategies, creating and launching major campaigns and advertising initiatives and planning events for a wide variety of clients in the food, consumer goods, retail, fashion, beauty, culture, tourism and emerging technology sectors.
Before taking on the role of Director, Marketing and Digital Communications at MFLPR, Mélissa worked in retail and for Loto-Québec’s digital communications department, where she developed valuable skills in marketing communications and social media.
In 2014, Mélissa created the new role of Director, Marketing and Digital Communications at Massy Forget Langlois Public Relations, motivated by a desire to offer value-added services to clients by developing a cutting-edge offering based on the proven expertise she continually strives to develop. A true trailblazer for the company as well as her clients, she helps them discover the power of influencer marketing and understand the strategic principles and approaches involved in these new communications methods. For years now, she has been advancing in this area of expertise, where her rigour, strong sense of ethics and commitment to best practices are of great benefit to the agency, her clients, and the industry in general.
Recently certified by the Canadian Public Relations Society, Mélissa Lapierre-Grano studied fashion marketing and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She also completed a certificate in Business Administration and a course in Applied Communications, Multimedia from the Université de Sherbrooke.
Mélissa strongly believes in education, skills development, knowledge sharing and team building. Actively involved with the new generation and in the promotion of her profession, she also shares her knowledge by sitting on the Opération Père Noël’s Board of Directors and on the Alliance des cabinets de relations publiques du Québec’s (ACRPQ) Relève committee.
Mélissa has received a number of awards from the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques and the Canadian Public Relations Society for her achievements.
