Mario Daigle is a marketing communications manager with over 30 years’ experience. He currently works as Vice-President at Massy Forget Langlois Public Relations (MFLPR).
Mario began his career in the hospital sector, specifically in the emergency room, then moved on to the sales and marketing team of a major pharmaceutical multinational. He subsequently joined an agency specializing in life sciences, where he managed the account of the first pharmaceutical product to reach the $100 million mark in Canada. He then joined LBJ which, after a series of mergers and acquisitions, became Allard-Johnson. After helming its Montréal office, he took on a new role within the firm, which had since become kbs, as the head of its national operations.
Mario has built a reputation as a dynamic, committed, results-focused and high-calibre manager, with a particular affinity for overseeing complex cases. He is also renowned for his unwavering calm, perseverance and motivating spirit. As an inspiring leader and peerless communicator, he knows how best to bring his colleagues together and drive them to push their limits to meet clients’ objectives, which assuredly contributes to building trusting, sustainable relationships with them.
Thanks to his broad expertise, Mario has managed several 360o campaigns for prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products. Moreover, he was actively involved with the Dairy Farmers of Canada (Nutrition segment) and helmed many social and government campaigns. He has also accrued extensive experience in the real estate, energy, environmental, finance, consumer product, retail and fast-food service sectors. Lastly, he was also a member of several boards of administration, including that of the CSSS du Lac-des-Deux-Montagnes (Saint-Eustache hospital – 6 years) and the Fondation Hôpital Saint-Eustache (6 years), and is currently a board member of the Institut du cancer de Montréal (8 years) and Gestion immobilière FHSE (3 years).
Mario was inducted into the Canadian Healthcare Marketing Hall of Fame in 2010 and was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 for his community involvement.
He holds an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Université de Montréal.
