Mylène Forget

“When success is your goal, it's vital to be able to put a finger on what’s essential. Strategic vision is also key to ensuring that every client is served attentively and effectively.”

President of a consulting firm that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2012, Mylène Forget has been at its head since the merger of her own firm with the family business in 2002. It has recently renamed itself Massy Forget Langlois Public Relations.

Mylène focuses her energies on strategic communications as well as issues and crisis management, while supervising the team's work on various projects.

She began her professional career practicing law with a Montreal-based law firm. She then served as a press agent for a Quebec government ministry, and then as a consultant with Massy-Forget until 1999, when she founded her own company, which she helmed as president for three years.

Mylène sits on the board of directors of Justice Pro Bono. She is also a member of the prize selection jury for the RFAQ Prix femmes d’affaires du Québec, in the award categories for entrepreneurs. She has served as chair of the Alliance des cabinets de relations publiques du Québec, which brings together most major firms in the province. In 2018 she co-chaired the inaugural fundraiser for the Association des auteurs de la Montérégie.

Under her management, the firm has won numerous Equinox and Awards of Excellence, presented by the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques and the Canadian Public Relations Society, recognizing the communications campaigns for Krispy Kreme, Saint-Joseph’s Oratory, ÉquiLibre, Industries Lassonde and Stationnement de Montréal.

She often speaks at conferences and moderates panels, particularly for the Canadian Institute, Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal, Canadian Public Relations Society, Les Affaires and Infopresse events. She also acts as an expert commentator for print and broadcast media, specifically La Presse, CBC radio and TVA.

Mylène holds an International B.A. from Jean-de-Brébeuf College and a Bachelor of Law degree from the Université de Montréal
